In collaboration with De Museummakers
Museum Kasteel Wijchen tells the tragic love story of princess Emilia van Oranje Nassau and her beloved Portuguese prince Emanuel, who once built their house here. We designed the permanent exhibition in collaboration with De Museummakers. The exhibition consists of different spaces in the castle, where different ghosts of the past take the visitor with them on a journey through their live in the castle. On the upper floors a big archeological collection is showcased in an archeological site and in a treasure room, where a bronze age farmhouse is hovering over as if it has been dug out of the ground.
